Parent Pick-Up and Drop-Off: Pull ALL the Way Up!
Help Us Keep Traffic From Backing Up
- It's great to see so many parents excited to pick up their kids after school! Please pull up as far as you can toward the cones in front of Door 6, even if you see your student. Stopping early causes traffic to back up toward Ivory. Having your Warrior walk to the car builds strength and character!
- If you need more time for your student to exit the vehicle, such as having a crucial conversation or mobility issues, please park in front of the Fine Arts wing. This keeps the lines moving.
- Please safely pull up behind the vehicle in front of you to keep the line as condensed as possible; we have been having issues with cars blocking buses and exiting traffic shortly before the 4:05 PM bell.
Tardy Policy
STUDENT TARDY POLICY
On-Time Arrival Matters
Students are expected to report to every class on time and be ready to learn when the class begins. Tardies accumulate throughout the school year and can create gaps in learning, disrupt instruction, and cause students to miss important information.
Important Reminder
Tardies are cumulative for the entire school year. Repeated tardiness means missed instructional time and can affect a student’s learning and academic progress. Students are responsible for arriving to class on time every day.
Expectation: Be on time, be prepared, and be ready to learn.

National School Lunch and Breakfast Program
Dear Parent/Guardian:
We are pleased to inform you that Lubbock Independent School District will be operating the Community Eligibility Provision (CEP) under the National School Lunch and School Breakfast Programs for School Year 2026-2027. ALL SCHOOLS within Lubbock ISD will offer free breakfast and free lunch to ALL enrolled students. Additionally, CEP minimizes the burden on families and campus administrators by eliminating the need for free and reduced meal applications.
Campus Administrators can still greatly benefit from the completion of your family’s socio-economic information. The completion of this form will continue to help Lubbock ISD receive funding that is VITAL to your students’ educational experience and campus environment. Please take the time to complete this confidential form to make sure we are utilizing all resources available to help promote your child’s learning. This form can be submitted securely on the district webpage thru the registration portal.
If you need more information regarding CEP, please contact my office at 1628 19th Street, Lubbock, Texas 79411; 806-219-0264.
Sincerely,
Carol Evans
