Dear Cielo Vista Families,
Spring has arrived, and we anticipate a successful conclusion to the school year. We encourage you to review our newsletter and take note of the 3rd through 5th grade STAAR testing dates listed below. Our students and their teachers have diligently worked throughout the year, and we look forward to their demonstrating their knowledge. Your support in ensuring your child is well-rested and prepared during the next three weeks is greatly appreciated. We value your continued partnership in making the remainder of the school year exceptional. If you have any questions please call the front office at 915-236-8375.

Bobcat Families,
Just a few reminders on attendance and tardies. Please remember that school starts at 8:00 a.m. allowing students the opportunity to eat breakfast and instruction starts at 8:15 a.m. All absences must be submitted through the Cielo Vista Attendance QR code and medical notes must be submitted within 5 days to excuse the absences including leaving early during the school day.
Please remember that it is important to have our students report to school on time to ensure they participate in the morning routine.
Just a reminder after the 3rd unexcused tardy a Notice of Absences is generated and a Attendance Agreement is developed which could lead to a possible court filing if there is not an improvement.

Attendance Procedures
Bobcat families, please make sure to bring your child to school everyday. Your child attendance matters. If you have any absences to report please use the QR code or email me at cielovista_notes@episd.org. Remember we will no longer be accepting phone calls to excuse any absences. A written form of communication is required. Thank you for your continued support.

Identification Requirement for Adults
Anyone entering the building must show an identification at the front door to gain admittance. Please ring the doorbell and hold your ID (e.g., driver's license, state ID, passport) in the front of the camera. The clerk will then verify your ID before unlocking the door for you. As you come in, please walk straight to the office to be signed in. We thank you for your cooperation on our safety procedures to help maintain our campus safe.
