**Next Wednesday 10/28/26 is a PLC day, so school will start at 9:00am**

During drop-off and pick-up, please follow the directions of our front-line staff in yellow safety vests. Their guidance helps keep everyone safe and traffic moving smoothly.

During Drop-Off:

• Please approach the front of the school slowly and cautiously.
• Pull forward and stop where directed by staff.
• Please allow a staff member to open the door and assist your child out of the vehicle.
• Be patient with the cars ahead of you and with our staff. A few extra seconds can make a big difference in keeping everyone safe.

During Pick-Up:

• Approach the pick-up lane slowly and follow the directions of staff.
• Students should wait until a staff member calls them to a vehicle.
• Please allow the staff member to open the vehicle door for your child.

Walking to and from the Parking Lot:
Families walking with students should always use the designated crosswalk, marked by white lines on the road. Please wait for front-line staff to stop traffic and signal that it is safe to cross. For everyone's safety, please do not weave between vehicles or enter the traffic lane from an unexpected location.

We want to share some important information about our Professional Learning Communities (PLC) Wednesdays.

PLC time is dedicated to supporting student growth. During these mornings, our amazing staff members meet in teams to review student data, adjust instruction, and plan curriculum changes to better meet student needs. We’re incredibly fortunate to have time set aside for this vital work!

🕘 What does this mean for students and families? On PLC Wednesdays, school will start at 9:00 AM instead of 8:00 AM.

However:

• 🚌 Buses will run at their regular times. If your student rides the bus, they will still be picked up at the usual time.

• 🚗 Car riders may also be dropped off at the usual time.

• 🏠 Families who would prefer a slower morning are welcome to bring students in closer to the 9:00 AM start time. Breakfast will still be provided

Please Note:
While the school will be open between 8:00 and 9:00 AM, there will not be staff outside to greet students as usual during that hour. Staff will be inside fulfilling supervision duties, so students should simply walk into the building upon arrival.

📌 Reminder: On non-PLC Wednesdays, school begins at 8:00 AM as usual.
