Thornton Creek Digest

From the Principal
Happy Thursday, TC Community!
Thank you all for making our Connected in Culture Potluck such a joyful evening together. It was the perfect way to wrap up a wonderful Artifact Day as well. I loved seeing some of the recipes that students shared during the school day come to life in the evening through the many delicious dishes brought by families.
If you didn’t have a chance to submit your recipe yet, this will remain open for another week! TCPG is gathering recipes to create a Thornton Creek community cookbook, and we would love to include your dish.
Yesterday at our assembly we continued celebrating community by sitting with our buddy classes to sing and spend time together. A huge shout-out to our Kindergarten students, who “flew in” to share their learning about Letterland. Be sure to check out the adorable pictures below!
Please join us next week for our Community Meeting on March 10 at 7 p.m. here at Thornton Creek. We are excited to share with you what is in store for us in the '26-'27 school year. Don’t forget to submit your questions or ideas for discussion ahead of time—we want to hear what’s on your mind.
I am so thankful that each of you are part of this community.
Warmly,
Brandee
