Did you hear the news? Both our 7th and 8th grade girls' volleyball teams ended their season as SCVC conference champions! The 7th grade team was also undefeated! We are so proud of how hard the girls worked all season.

We hope that you have had a chance to meet with some teachers over the last week, or have an appointment scheduled for a conference next week. Please remember that while this is our designated timeframe for parent-teacher conferences, parents are welcome to request a meeting with a teacher at any time to discuss concerns about their child's academic progress.

As we are already in the second half of October, I would also like to remind families that we do NOT dress up for Halloween at the middle school. On Friday, Oct. 30th, we have a half day and have planned some fun activities for the students during our community-building time we host during the last hour of every day. However, the fun activities do not include costumes.

Thank you to everyone who came out to our annual Fall Fest!! It was such a fun event, as always! The kids had the best time, and we loved seeing everyone dressed up in their costumes!

A BIG thank you to all of our amazing volunteers, teachers, and staff who helped make this event such a success! And of course, thank you to everyone who donated candy! We couldn’t have done it without all of you!

FTC is selling fleece blankets! These are great gift ideas for your students! There are multiple options available - Salt Creek/Swartz, Albright and District 48! Blankets are 50" x 60", printed on one side and are $25 each.

You will have the option to have your purchase sent home with your student(s) or to arrange pickup.

Please note that blankets will be available until they sell out. They are available to purchase online as well at FTC events and Albright home games! If we order more to restock, we will make them available again!

Often, our buses run late. First Student will notify us when there is a delay in the time for buses so we can notify our parents of the bus that is running late. Sometimes, a situation arises in which our office is closed, and a parent tries to call us. If this is the case, you may contact First Student at 630-270-2720. Note that our School Office hours are from 7:15 to 4pm,
