Marlow Monday Message
October 27th, 2025
Goooooooooood Evening Marlow Families!!!
What an incredible week we wrapped up at Marlow last week!
Our Pumpkin Lighting event on Wednesday was a huge success — a BIG shout-out to our AMAZING Marlow PTO and Marlow Dads for all their time, effort, and creativity in making it such a special night for our families.
We ended the week by celebrating our 3rd, 4th, and 5th graders for their hard work and achievement during our Q1 Honor Roll Ceremony — what a joy it was to recognize their growth and commitment to excellence!
With Halloween on Friday, we say goodbye to October -- Let’s carry that same energy, gratitude, and sense of community forward into November. Each new week is an opportunity to make a difference — for our students, our school, and one another.
Let’s finish October strong and step into a new month with purpose and positivity!
School Community News: At the bottom of the MMM, you’ll now find a new section called 'School Community News.' This space will share non-Marlow announcements, events, and opportunities happening around our greater community that may be of interest to families.
Have a fantastic week, everyone — and thank you for all that you do to make Marlow such a special place!
Full of pride and gratitude,
JHart

With coats and hats both left and right!

All waiting here to be re-found.

Your missing gear might still be here,
Before it disappears this year!
Unclaimed items will soon move on,
So stop by quick before they’re gone!

Honoring Mr. Kinsey: Wear Blue and Orange on Thursday, November 6th
Next Thursday, November 6th, we invite all students and staff to wear blue and orange in honor of our beloved, Mr. Kinsey. Many of you know he was a devoted Denver Broncos fan, and the team takes the field that Thursday night.
Let’s come together as a Marlow family to celebrate his spirit, his energy, and the positive impact he made on our school. Wearing his favorite team’s colors is a simple but meaningful way to remember and honor someone who meant so much to our community.
The Clothes Bin now benefiting our Marlow K-Kids
Did you know that the Clothes Bin in our parking lot collects ld clothes to be recycled? Every item donated not only helps the environment by reducing waste, but now also supports our Marlow K-Kids Club!
Proceeds from the bin will go directly toward student-led service projects and community initiatives.
Clean out those closets and drop off your donations anytime — it’s a simple way to make a difference!

Henderson County Public Library - A Great Resource!!!
Did you know your student can borrow books and resources from the Henderson County Public Library with just their student number?
Through the StudentAccess program, HCPS works with the Henderson County Public Library to provide our students with extra support for their ongoing education.
If you want your child to participate this year through StudentAccess, you must opt in to the program by completing the form or filling out a print version provided by your student’s school. Students who do not return this form will not be able to borrow materials or access online information unless they have a traditional Henderson County Public Library card and PIN number.

Geoff Kinsey Memorial Scholarship
We are honored to share that our school community has established the Geoff Kinsey Memorial Scholarship in memory of our beloved teacher and friend, Mr. Kinsey, who passed away back in July. This scholarship will be awarded each year to a 4th Grade student who embodies the same kindness, adventurous spirit, perseverance, and love for learning that Mr. Kinsey modeled every day.
If you would like to support this meaningful tribute, donations can be made by scanning the QR code included in tonights message, or clicking on the link below. Your generosity helps continue Mr. Kinsey’s legacy of inspiring students to live with courage, curiosity, and compassion.
