We’re thrilled to announce that Alligator Aquatics, as a women-led club, has been chosen as a recipient of USA Swimming’s Community Impact Grant, a prestigious recognition and funding opportunity awarded to clubs making a meaningful difference in their communities. This grant will fund and enhance our ability to provide community related services in our area through the sport of swimming. More information about the grant can be found here: USA Swimming Community Impact Grant.

Along with this announcement, we’d like to send a HUGE thank you to Erin Greiss, who sourced this opportunity for our club and wrote our fantastic grant application. While Erin has a background that lends well to supporting our club in this regard, this was a huge undertaking and she poured her heart and soul into our grant application. As a result of her hard work, we have been recognized by USA swimming as one of 30 clubs in the nation (and the only from Illinois) that are worthy of this honor. We’re lucky to have Erin leading the implementation of this grant from a board perspective and can’t wait to see the great ways we’re able to connect with the community through this grant. Thank you, Erin!
