If you are parking on the west side of the building to walk your child to the building, please watch for pedestrians as others are dropping their child off as well. We want to keep everyone safe.

Swartz Drop Off & Pick Up Swartz Drop Off & Pick Up

With the colder weather and snow piled up, drop off and pick up at Swartz can be more challenging. Please follow the guidelines below to keep drop off/pick up running smoothly.

  • Pull up as far as you can to allow multiple cars to unload at one time. Cones will be out for the last few parking spaces to help with this.
  • Stay in single line (no double rows).
  • Use Monterey to proceed to the line. Do not turn down Elder and turn around in a resident's driveway.
  • Drive the speed limit when driving on Monterey and any streets around the school.
  • Do not park on the east side of the building. This can be very dangerous, it blocks traffic and slows down the line.
  • Do not wait and watch your child enter the building. If you need to watch your child enter the building, please park on the west side of the building and walk your child to the front entrance. We have a supervisor on duty from 7:30-7:40 am.

Meet Mrs. Noll

Hi! My name is Ann Noll and this is my 24th year teaching in the Salt Creek School District. I have taught kindergarten, first grade, fifth grade and am loving teaching fourth grade. I received my Bachelor of Science degree in Education with a minor in Psychology from Northeastern Illinois University. I am certified in Elementary Education (K-9) and also have a Middle School endorsement. I completed my Masters Degree in Teaching and Leadership through Saint Xavier University. My husband Craig and I live in Carol Stream with our daughters Hailey (19 yrs.) and Marissa (18 yrs.). Hailey is currently a freshman at Aurora University and Marissa is a senior at Glenbard North High School who will be attending Illinois State University in the Fall. I have a feeling I will have some extra time on my hands. When I am not at school, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, softball, bowling, cooking, taking walks, and am always up for a good movie. From a young age, I would tell anyone who would listen that I was going to be a teacher and exactly how I would set up my classroom. When I look at my students, I see unique individuals with gifts and talents just waiting to be discovered. I strive to create an atmosphere where all students feel safe and valued so they are able to reach their full potential. My classroom door is always open!

Standard Response Protocol

Salt Creek District 48 has adopted a new emergency protocol response from the I Love U Guys Foundation. This is a program that has been adopted by many of the schools within DuPage County. Over the summer, the administrative team attended training on the protocol and is passing along the training to all staff. We also want to make families aware of the five different protocols so you can be familiar with the language you may hear your child or the school use.
