GTA Brief Update 5/13/26

The GTA Booster Club is looking for GTA Parents who would be willing to speak to the parents of incoming 6th graders in an INFORMAL setting ON THIS SATURDAY, MAY 16th FROM 10:00am - 12 NOON to answer their questions and help them understand how to manage the transition to middle school, especially the GTA.

Remember all the questions you had???? EXACTLY!

Remember worrying about things you really didn't need to worry about???? TELL THEM!

Remember not knowing how to _____________________ [fill in the blank]??? HELP THEM FILL IT IN!

If there's any chance you're available and willing, please sign up below. Abi Akinyele, the GTABC Membership Coordinator, and the GTABC would be eternally grateful...as would the parents of incoming 6th graders who can learn so much from you!

Notifications were sent to parents ONLY if their 6th or 7th grade student is receiving one or more awards. Students do NOT know what awards they might be receiving. NOTE: QVMS staff cannot look up what awards students are receiving to inform parents; there simply is not enough time as they print, organize, and prepare literally thousands of awards. The notification is meant as a courtesy to inform parents of a [surprise!] award or awards in case they'd like to attend the awards ceremony.

Please be as mindful as possible as far as the number of people you bring to the awards program. Space is limited. Thank you!
