Principal's Message

Hello CVIS Families,

Winter is in full swing! I'm not sure about everyone, but I'm over the cold!

With that in mind, we are also over halfway through the school year! 2nd quarter report cards posted to the Report Portal on Sapphire last Friday. If you notice any issues, please reach out to your student's teachers.

As we settle into the second half of the year, the growth of our students is remarkable. Students are becoming more independent, tackling more complex projects, and showing true leadership in our school community.

Make sure to check out the reminders posted below. We have so many fun activities in the month of February. Also, mark your calendars for Cubing for Q (April 11th) and Mini-Thon (April 24).

SWPBIS at CVIS - UPDATE

Colonials are Committed, Honest, Adaptable, Respectful, Generous, and Engage! It takes a lot to be a Colonial! When our students demonstrate these attributes, we rewarded them with CHARGE tickets.

For the month of February, students may choose to use 20 CHARGE tickets to choose one of the following special activities:

  • Glow Dance Party

  • Rubik's Cube with Mr. O'Brien

Students may also continue to use their CHARGE tickets to purchase small items from the CHARGE Cart. Ask your student if they’ve spent any of their tickets recently or brought home something new!
