90 Second Idea- Life's Purpose
There are still a few copies of Saving Our Children in a World Gone Crazy in the school office. If you're a parent of a CCA student and think this book might be helpful to your family, please stop by and ask for one. It is easy to digest because it contains short chapters that can each be read in a few minutes and give you a LOT to think about:
Chapters 1-3 are about the importance of Biblical discipleship.
Chapters 4-9 outline the reasons giving our children a Biblical worldview is so important.
Chapters 10-20 tell about the differences between the Biblical worldview promoted at school like CCA and what is taught in most of our culture.
If you want to skip straight to the practical ways you can help your children, it's ok to start with...
Chapters 21-26: A talk through the specific ways Noah saved his family from the crazy culture.
Chapters 27-33 contain extremely practical guidance for Christian parents who are ready for change.
Elementary Insights
Celebrating Johnny Appleseed Day
Our Kindergarten and First Grade students enjoyed a wonderful day of learning and hands on fun as they celebrated Johnny Appleseed Day on Tuesday, September 22!
Kindergarten students stepped into the shoes of Johnny Appleseed by creating their own cooking pot hats, just like the ones Johnny was known for wearing. They also worked together to make homemade applesauce, giving them the opportunity to experience firsthand how apples can be turned into a delicious treat.
Our First Graders joined in the fun by making apple fritters. From preparing the ingredients to enjoying the finished product, students loved being able to put their learning into action and, of course, taste the results!
It was a delightful day filled with learning, creativity, and hands on experiences. We love watching our youngest students learn through experiences that make their lessons memorable, and Johnny Appleseed Day was certainly a sweet one!

Fun Run Extravaganza
Our Fun Run Extravaganza is off to a great start! Thank you to everyone who has participated so far. We need more families to join in to help make this fundraiser a success and support CCA’s Future Growth & Improvement Initiative. If you haven’t participated yet, please consider joining in and sharing your 99Pledges page with friends and family. Every donation helps! Another drawing is coming Monday! Anyone who has received a donation of any amount will be entered for a chance to win a $5 gift card to a local ice cream or coffee shop. We’re looking forward to a fun-filled day for our entire school on Friday, October 9! If you have any questions, please contact Jessica Keever at jkeever@cramertonchristian.org.
