A Letter From Dr. Towns
July 11, 2025
Dear Rising 9th Grade Families,
Again, welcome to Heights High School! At Heights, we believe that every student deserves the opportunity to pursue their dreams and achieve their fullest potential. Our school offers a wide range of challenging courses, academic supports, extracurricular activities and clubs, career and technical education programs, and more! These opportunities have been designed to empower students with the tools and knowledge needed to excel in high school and prepare for college and career. We understand that the transition to high school can be both exciting and challenging, and we are committed to walking alongside each student and family every step of the way.
To help ease the transition to Heights High, we will hold the “Heading To Heights” Freshman Orientation from August 4 - 8 from 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. in the Heights High School Cafeteria.
Students and their parents will attend a half-day session from August 4 - 8 based on the student’s last name.
Monday, August 4: Last Names A - D
Tuesday, August 5: Last Names E - K
Thursday, August 7: Last Names L - R
Friday, August 8: Last Names S - Z
Registration will take place at the Main Entrance (Door 1) from 8:15 - 8:55 a.m.
All students and parents are then invited to attend the Heights High Back-to-School Meet & Greet on Friday, August 8 from 2:00 p.m. - 4:30 p.m., where you can meet school staff and other students, get any questions you may have answered, and get energized for the new school year.
Once again, welcome to Heights High! I look forward to meeting you at the “Heading to Heights” Orientation. Should you have any questions or need assistance, please do not hesitate to contact me at b_towns@chuh.org.
In service of students,
Dr. Brandon Towns
