Family Update
September 27, 2026
Good afternoon, families!
WOW! What a great turn-out at Chick-fil-A!!! Not sure if it was the rain or there are more people out there like me who just don't like to cook... but we appreciate you!!
Decades Day was an absolute blast! Be sure to check out Facebook for all of the fun photos!
GRADES 4 & 5: MCAP letters and scores were sent home with students this past week. Please be sure to check your child's Take Home Folder for information.
We hope you are able to join us for this year's OPEN HOUSE this Wednesday! We will host a multilingual family pre-session from 4:30 - 5:00. Doors open at 5:00 for all other guests with a welcome message from 5:05 - 5:10. Session times are listed below for families who need to visit more than one classroom. Be sure to turn in your evaluation before leaving for your slice of pizza (one for each family member) and a chance to win prizes!
Session 1: 5:15 - 5:35
Session 2: 5:40 - 6:00
Session 3: 6:05 - 6:25
Each month we will highlight and celebrate one of Holly Hall's Houses. This month we will recognize the Tika House! All students and staff, regardless of House membership, are encouraged to wear ORANGE on THURSDAY as we recognize Tika traits of equity and fairness!
A special shout out to some of our unsung heroes this week as we celebrate the hard work of our physical therapist and facilities personnel! Your commitment and dedication are appreciated! Thank you for all you do!
Multilingual Family Meeting
Student attendance dropped below our goal line! Please remember every day counts! Students in excess of 16 days may be retained from or placed in the next grade level. We heard a rumor there would be spontaneous attendance events occurring this year! You won't want your child to miss it!!
ππ Our House Fundraiser is well on its way! ππ
Funds raised will help purchase House swag for our students and staff to show off their House pride throughout the school year! π‘π
Want to support your favorite House? Consider making a donation using the link below! Every contribution helps and brings us one step closer to filling our school with even more House pride!

From the Judy Center:
The Holly Hall Judy Center Early Learning Hub supports families with children age birth through five, not yet enrolled in school within the Holly Hall Elementary School attendance area. We offer free programming including weekly family/child playgroups, monthly workshops and family engagement events. Additionally, we can connect families to resources including but not limited to food, shelter, medical insurance and more!
Do you have a child birth through age five and not yet enrolled in school? We would love to have you join our weekly playgroups. Our playgroups are one hour long with 45 minute intentional play and a 15 minute group activity. We always end with bubbles!
Please reach out to our Judy Center Staff for more information.
