Join us during orchestra class for some holiday cheer! On December 20 (A Day and Woodwind All 3) and 21 (B Day and Brass All 3), join us for a class period of holiday music, cookies, and hot cocoa. Orchestra classes start at the following times:

6th Grade-1:38

7th Grade-3:01

8th Grade-12:48

We could also use some donations of cookies and cocoa. Visit our Signup Genius if you can help. Items should be brought to school by December 19. Thank you and we hope you can join us!

All 8th graders will perform on the fall/winter concert with their future high school orchestra! This is a great opportunity to meet their new orchestra teacher, see the building, and make some new friends! We are working on the music together in class. Everyone only needs to attend the Side By Side for the school they will attend next year. If you're not sure, or plan to open enroll, your best guess is fine.

The Lincoln and Jefferson side-by-sides were a success! Roosevelt and Washington are still coming up:

Congratulations to the 15 Patrick Henry students who auditioned for Middle School All State Orchestra this year! This is the largest number of auditions Patrick Henry has ever submitted. Audition results should be available on the SDMEA Web Site before Winter Break.

The Encore Program pairs volunteers from the Lincoln High School Orchestra with middle school orchestra students for lessons and mentorship at no cost. This program is ideal for students who need a little help catching up, who would like an extra challenge, or who are auditioning for Middle School All State.
