This month, our school is focusing on gratitude—taking time to notice and appreciate the good things around us. When students practice gratitude, they build empathy, strengthen relationships, and develop a positive outlook. Families can support this at home by sharing “thankful moments” at dinner, writing short notes of appreciation, or talking about what went well each day. Together, we can help our students see the value in kindness, thankfulness, and giving back.

Here are a few questions you can use as conversation starters with your child:

• What is something you feel thankful for today?

• What is something we have as a family that you are grateful for?

• Who is someone you are grateful for, and how can you show them gratitude?

• How does it make you feel when someone thanks you for something you have done?
