Festival Of The Arts

Hilltop will be hosting the 2nd Annual Festival of the Arts on May 28th from 3:30-5:30. Come join your Hilltopper to find their artwork to take home, enjoy reading, writing, and video production, participate in rhyme activities in music, and play games in the gym!

Enrichments for 5/28 will be moved to 6/4.

Field Day

Please be on the look out for more information to come regarding Field Day events. All students will be following a behavior expectation to participate in Field Day.

3-Strike Policy

Students will receive a strike for behavior that is:

• Disrespectful
• Physical or unsafe
• Against school rules

After 3 strikes, the student will miss one Field Day activity.

Attendance

A reminder regarding student attendance: Per Mendham Borough Board of Education regulation 5200, "A day in session shall consist of not less than four hours, exclusive of recess and lunch periods." A student who arrives late or leaves early and does not meet the four hour minimum will be marked absent. Students must be present for a full day (at least 4 hours of instruction).Furthermore, a student that is absent for any reason( excused or unexcused) for 18 school days is considered chronically absent.

Late to school or absent

Please email or call Nurse Katelyn to inform the school if your child will be absent or late to school. Any child that arrives after 8:35 will be marked tardy and must be signed in by their parent/guardian.

Pick Up Patrol

Please note that any changes regarding your child’s dismissal plan MUST be entered in Pick-Up Patrol. After 1:00 p.m. any changes must be called into the main office. Staff will send your child to the designated area as specified in the daily dismissal report.

The Harlem Wizards Fundraiser Game is April 26!

The Harlem Wizards are coming back to challenge our teachers, staff and community members on April 26, 2026 at 3:00 p.m., creating an unforgettable night of tricks, dunks, and family fun! This game will serve as our main fundraiser for the year.
