A Message from Mrs. Spisich

Happy Halloween! We've had a fun morning here at South enjoying some Halloween station celebrations. Thank you to everyone who came to enjoy our parade this morning. It's been a fun way to wrap up the week! Just a friendly reminder there is no school for students on Monday, November 2nd as teachers will be participating in PD.

Bulldogs Caught Being Positive

Throughout the day, our Bulldogs have opportunities to be Caught Being Positive by showing kindness, responsibility, and leadership throughout our school! Staff celebrate these moments with a Blue Slip, and each week, three students from each grade are randomly selected to be celebrated.

These are the everyday moments that bring our Portrait of a Graduate to life! I’ll share our students here each week so we can celebrate them together as a South Meadows community!

Book Fair is Coming

Updates and Information

Dismissal Plans

Please review your child’s dismissal plan before the school day begins. To help avoid last minute calls home and interruptions to families day, students will not be able to call home to make plans with friends or change their dismissal arrangements. If a change is needed, please notify both your child’s classroom teacher and our office staff. Thank you for your help in keeping dismissal safe and running smoothly!

Item Drop Off

If your child forgets an item at home, you can leave it on the designated table in the front vestibule along with a note for your student. Our office staff will make sure the item gets to your child as soon as they have a moment between helping others.

Conferences

Teacher conference links were sent this week. Please make sure to sign up! While you are in the building for conferences we encourage you to stop by the book fair and please check out the lost anf found. It is overflowing with sweatshirts!

Bulldog Jog Results Are In!
Together, we raised $24,227 to fund PTO's annual budget to support teacher grants, building projects, school supplies, family events, and more! Thank you for your generous support!

Family Fun Night: November 5
Join us for a fun, family night out on November 5! Enjoy magic shows, gym activities, games, cookie decorating, hot cocoa and more! The event will take place at North Creek --stop by anytime between 5:30 and 7:30 p.m. Volunteers are needed. P lease consider signing up for an hour shift and spend the rest of the evening with your family!

South Meadows Teacher Conference Meal: November 12
Parent/Teacher Conference day is busy for our teachers so the PTO tries to make it easier by providing a meal and snacks. Please view the South Meadows conference meal sign up if you're interested in contributing a food item or monetary donation.

Transportation Appreciation Breakfast: November 17
PTO is hosting our annual Transportation Appreciation Breakfast on November 17 to honor bus drivers and crossing guards for their hard work and commitment to keep our kids safe. Please view the breakfast sign up and consider contributing a food item or monetary donation.

Next PTO Meeting: November 11
All caregivers are invited to our last meeting of the calendar year on November 11 at 6:30 p.m. in the North Creek Media Center.
