Chester Upland School District has adopted PowerSchool as our information system. This is where you will be able to access your student’s grades throughout the year. Our teachers use the gradebook in PowerSchool, so you have a live snapshot of your student’s progress. Please see the instructions below on how to create your Parent Account as well as the opportunity to install the PowerSchool App.
Creating a PowerSchool Parent Account
Click "Create Account" and fill in your information under Parent Account Details
Scroll down to "Link Students to Account"
Enter your Student's name. Enter your Student's ID number for Access ID. Enter your Student's ID number again for Access Password

Creating a PowerSchool Student Account
1. Go to: https://cusd.powerschool.com/public/home.html
2. Click on the student login (its on the right hand side closer to the corner) and use the username and password you use for your school email
3. Click on the letter/percentage grade for a class (the blue letter and/or number next to the class).
4. When looking at your assignments, a -- means I have not put in grades for this assignment, anything else (a "0" or "blank/no number") means you have not turned it in.
Please reach out with any questions. We encourage you to have regular conversations with your students about their progress and learning. We truly appreciate your support and look forward to the opportunity to continue to partner for your student’s success!
Sincerely,
Tahira Burrell, Ed.D.
