Breakfast Ends at 7:35 AM

Beginning this week, students must be inside the cafeteria by 7:35 AM to eat breakfast.

We have too many students arriving late for breakfast, which keeps the cafeteria full when class begins at 7:45 AM. This is causing students to be late to class.

If your child eats breakfast at school, please arrive a little earlier so they have enough time to eat and get to class on time.

Thank you for helping our Dragons start their day ready to learn!

DK Lunch Party — Wednesday, October 7

We want every Dragon at school on Wednesday, October 7!

We are having a DK Lunch Party with removable tattoos, Otter Pops, music, and dancing!

Being at school every day matters. Come to school, learn, and then let’s have some fun together at lunch!

We want to see ALL of our Dragons there!

Principal's Message

Dear Dyer Kelly Families,

Thank you for your support and for continuing to work with us to help our Dragons be successful. We have a few important reminders for this week.

No School Monday, October 5

There is no school Monday, October 5. We will see our Dragons back at school on Tuesday, October 6.

School Breakfast Ends at 7:35 AM

We will stop serving breakfast at 7:35 AM. Too many students are arriving late for breakfast, and our cafeteria is still full when school starts at 7:45 AM. This is causing students to be late to class.

If your child eats breakfast at school, please help us by arriving a little earlier so they have time to eat and get to class on time.

We Need Every Dragon Here Wednesday!

Wednesday, October 7 is an important attendance day. Student attendance that day is used for our school enrollment count, so we want every Dragon at school!

We will also have some fun at lunch with Otter Pops, removable tattoos, music, and dancing!

i-Ready Testing & Progress Reports

We just finished our i-Ready testing in reading and math. This helps us understand what students know and where they may need more support.

Progress reports are for students who are currently working below grade-level standards. If your child receives one, it will be available in the Parent Portal beginning October 12.

Thank you again for your support, for getting your children to school, and for working with us. Strength in Numbers!
