CES Weekly Communicator
Issue #34: April 26, 2024
Principal Corner
Good evening, Chapelfield families.
Over the past few weeks, we have celebrated students showing PAWS as a class in a friendly competition. Grade levels competed either in homerooms or in cross grade level groups in an obstacle course! Another way we are celebrating students is having a golden spatula competition during lunch. Classrooms that are Positive, Act Responsibly, Work Hard, and Show Respect have earned a popsicle party!
Please look at the volunteer opportunities in this newsletter for Carnival & Field Day. These are 2 big traditions coming up in May. With the support of our families, we are able to create wonderful memories for the students at Chapelfield. PTO plays an important role at our school. Thanks to successful fundraisers like the Spring Flower Sale and Skate Night, we are able to provide great learning activities and experiences for our students. Don't forget to reach out if you want to join our PTO in a leadership role. Thank you families for all you do to support Chapelfield.
Finally, next week 4th and 5th grade complete OST testing. Make sure your child gets a good night rest, has a healthy breakfast, and leaves in a positive mood. 4th grade will take the Math OST on Monday and Tuesday. 5th grade will take the Science OST on Wednesday and Thursday.
Have a great weekend!
Sincerely,
Nikki Miller
