By now you have likely already been to orientation and should be working on your classes in Edgenuity!
Here are some resources & reminders we want to ensure you have access to at all times!
- Here is the copy of the presentation we go over at orientation! Feel free to refer to the information in this presentation at any time.
- And here is a link to all of the information you received in your folder at orientation, just in case you ever need access to any of it!
- Attendance! We know that for so many of our students/families the concept of attendance at a virtual school can feel confusing, and it can be confusing. But we are required to take daily attendance. The easiest way to explain it is on pace = present! Green or Blue is good, and red is going to etiher be a half or full day absent. - Something to remember, if you are working in the evening, that will count towards attendance for the next day.
- Academic Integrity is key please make sure you are aware of our full academic integrity policy. You can review that in the links above or HERE.
- All courses ARE reviewed for academic integrity, credit will NOT be awareded if a course is flagged for academic integrity.
Communication!
Remember even though our teachers are only available at certain times, you can work on your Edgenuity courses at any time.
Remember, you do have access to your Edgenuity class 24/7. It is recommended that you log on Edgenuity at least 4 quality hours daily. But as long as your progress stays in the green or blue or are good to go! Our school has the same attendance requirements as all other schools, if you are marked absent 10 consecutive days you will get dropped.
Students can work any time of day, but remember if you are working in the evening, please understand that will count towards the next day's attendance.
Our school meets the same attendance requirements as all other schools. If you don't stay in the green/blue you will be marked absent. And if you are marked absent you will get dropped, so stay in the green/blue.
Please email your adviisor or content area teacher regarding resetting, grading or unlocking your class/es using your K12 email ONLY. Also, make sure you DO NOT opt out of talking points, as that is one of our primary communication methods.
If you are unable to work for any length of time (even if it is just one day) please communicate with your advisors.
You may easily click on each teachers' Teams link during their office hours to discuss your current class, graduation progress, or any other questions. Or you may email Teachers directly at anytime (emails will be answered within 24 working hours), from your K12 email.
Students & Families are encouraged to also reach out to or copy our counselors & administration on any communication as well.
