FAFSA 2021-2022

The 2021-2022 FAFSA (or Free Application for Federal Student Aid) is set to open on October 1st, 2020.

In the meantime, students and parents can prepare for it now by each creating their own FSA ID (Federal Student Aid ID) by visiting https://fsaid.ed.gov/npas.

You will need the following items in order to create an FSA ID:

  • A valid email address that you have access to
  • Your social security number

Then, save your student and parent FSA IDs, and return to https://studentaid.gov/ on October 1st to begin your 2021-2022 FAFSA!

The sooner you can do your FAFSA, the more beneficial it is for the student! The Texas Priority FAFSA deadline is January 15th, 2021.

The College Visit Day Policy for Juniors and Seniors

As a limited number of campuses are safely resuming campus tours, here's what juniors and seniors need to do if they wish to go on a college visit! Juniors and Seniors no longer need to pick up a teacher consent form from my office, but will need to follow the updated check list below in order to receive excused school business.

Please be advised that it is very important that you verify whether or not the college you are interested in is offering visits to prospective students. If your college is offering tours or other events for prospective students, make sure that you register as soon as possible, as spots may be limited due to social distancing policies.

Don't feel ready for an in-person college visit just yet? No worries! Many colleges continue to offer virtual tour and visit options for your convenience! Stay safe, Falcons!
