Note from the Principal-

Happy New Year to all our School 8 families! The half year mark of the school year has now passed. The year is flying by so quickly.

1. We are having our food drive to help a local pantry. Please have your child bring in one item which is non-perishable.
2. It has been very cold so please dress your child in layers.
3. Students should have gloves, hats with their coat so they can go out for lunch recess when it is not too cold.
4. All children should have their coats and sweatshirts labeled with their name on back collar.
5. At- Risk conferences are February 5th, you will get a notice only if your child could be retained this school year.
6. All parents should be receiving notifications from teachers through Remind App or Classroom DOJO.
7. The staff and I are planning some Valentine dances and wonderful field trips.
8. It is very important that your child comes to school on time and is picked up promptly at 2:42. Please let your teacher or main office know if you have an issue or need assistance.

It is very important to come to school each day and be on time. All students should line up at their grade level doors and when weather is bad or it is extremely cold then students can wait in the gym for their teachers. Try to arrive to school by 8:30 each morning.

😀Any students arriving late to school after 8:45 MUST be walked into main office by their parent. Parent must sign in with secretary. Student will be given a late slip to be admitted into their class.
