Winter Weather

As we move into the part of the school year that can be affected by winter weather, please refer to the district communication method chart below for how you can expect to receive updates about weather and other school related information.

Fun Friday

The first Fun Friday of the second trimester will take place on Friday, January 8th. Targeted behaviors will be tracked from Wednesday, January 8th through Thursday, January 16th (7 days).

Qualification Requirements:

6th grade

• 2 times unprepared in a class disqualifies a student

• 2 disruption/defiance referrals combined disqualifies a student

7th grade

• 2 missing assignments in a class disqualifies a student

• 2 disruption/defiance referrals combined disqualifies a student

8th grade

• 2 missing assignments in a class disqualifies a student

• 2 disruption/defiance referrals combined disqualifies a student

CAP

The middle school CAP program has begun and runs from 2:45 - 4:15 Monday through Thursday in the cafeteria. The program gives students a place to work on school work with the assistance of a high school tutors as well as a Madison Middle School staff member. If you are interested in enrolling your child in this program, please see the registration link.

Dispensing of Medications

In order to give the students Tylenol or Motrin for headaches, a Medication Authorization form must be filled out & signed by a doctor. The form must be on file in the office and families must provide the mediation.
