A Reminder About Fidgets at School
Dear Families,
We want to take a moment to clarify our expectations regarding fidgets and sensory tools in the classroom.
While fidgets can be helpful tools for some students, they can also become toys and distractions during instructional time. At school, we have designated Calm/Reset Corners where students may access appropriate fidgets and other regulation tools when they need support with self-regulation.
Our teachers and staff are equipped with strategies, resources, and tools to help students manage their emotions, maintain focus, and navigate challenging moments throughout the school day. We want students to develop the skills to recognize when they need a break and appropriately use the support available to them within the school environment.
Unless a student has a documented accommodation through a 504 Plan or a doctor's note indicating the need for an individual fidget or sensory tool, personal fidgets and toys should remain at home and should not be brought into the classroom.
We appreciate your partnership in helping us maintain a focused learning environment while ensuring that all students have access to the support they need to be successful. Thank you for reinforcing these expectations at home!
Thank you for your continued support!

Lost & Found - Unclaimed Items Donated Monthly
Our lost & found is conveniently located in the lunch room where every student has a daily opportunity to look for lost items. Please encourage your child to check for misplaced items. Don't forget to label as much as possible. We regularly donate unclaimed items.
Label Outdoor Clothing
Please be sure to send your child with appropriate outdoor clothing for recess.
Please label your child's jacket, gloves, hat, etc. whenever possible. It helps us return items to their owner if they end up in lost & found.
Visitors & Volunteers
Searching for Parent/Community Members interested in Volunteering for Raffle Prize Experiences!
Bell Graham is committed to being respectful, responsible and safe. When individual students show one or all of these attributes, they receive a BG Buck. They can use the buck for individual class raffles that are offered weekly or they can put the buck in a monthly drawing for staff, parent, and community experiences. If you would be interested in providing an experience for students at BG, please fill out this form and Dr. Dieckman will reach out to you. Please note that all volunteers must have a volunteer form on file for this school year. Thank you for your time and generosity.
ATTENTION FIFTH GRADE BAND STUDENTS
Hey, Band! The Great Turkey Tune Up practice challenge is here for November! Students who can perform all the songs well will be recognized in an awards ceremony after fall break and earn a prize. This is a great way to prepare for our December 14th Winter Concert. Good Luck and Gobble Gobble!
