This has been a busy week at Hoyle! We have been working hard to get everything, organized and ready for all our students and families.
I have enjoyed getting to know all the staff throughout the summer and this week, all the students too! Thank you from the bottom of my heart to everyone who came to our Hoyle Hangout and/or Preschool Playdate this week. It was such a wonderful time to meet everyone and watch the children play and enjoy themselves.
To repeat my message from last week, As the new principal here at the Hoyle School, I know that I have some big shoes to fill but I am looking forward to hitting the ground running and doing my best for each and every person in the Hoyle community. Thank you to everyone who came to our Hoyle Hangout and Preschool Playdate. I loved all the handshakes, high-fives, first bumps, hugs, drawings, and hellos. My heart is so happy to have joined the Hoyle Community.

Bus routes are posted
The bus routes for the 2026-2027 school year have now been posted on the district’s website. The AM and PM routes can be accessed by clicking the following link.
Transportation Department - Bus Routes
Some bus stop locations have changed, so we ask that all families using bus transportation review the updated routes carefully.
Please note that some new student registrations have not yet been added to the routes. We will continue to update the routes as new students are enrolled, with additional updates posted by the beginning of next week.
Addresses listed on the bus routes are bus stop locations, not student home addresses. Students are assigned to the bus stop closest to their home. Due to the number of students we transport, we are not able to provide a bus stop at every student’s home.
Families of students who ride vans will be contacted directly with their student’s pick-up and drop-off information over the next couple days.

The Hoyle School Council is looking for two parents to join us! Members of the council advise the principal on the needs of the school. Parent representatives serve as the parent voice on the council which is made of a variety of stakeholders within the school. The commitment is one meeting a month, typically on the first Thursday 4-5 pm. If you are interested in this opportunity or would like more information, please email Mrs. Dietz directly at laura.dietz@swanseaschools.org.
