Things to Know Things to Know

  • The Board of Education discussed several auto accidents that have occurred in our community, some of which have resulted in pedestrian injuries. As we continue working with State and local officials to identify and implement long-term solutions, we ask all staff and community members to remain alert and exercise extra caution, particularly when pedestrians are walking to and from school. Please remember to obey all traffic laws, remain vigilant and look out for one another. Together, we can help make our community safer for everyone.

  • Wednesday, Oct. 21 is Unity Day. This is a special occasion where District 99 joins schools across the nation in focusing on promoting student safety, drug awareness and anti-bullying among students and the community. We are committed to standing together to eliminate bullying from our schools and neighborhood, and fostering a safer and more inclusive environment for everyone. Please join the District in this mission Oct. 21 by wearing orange or white to symbolize unity for this cause.

  • The Board of Education was presented with the administration's initial plan for the classroom allocation for the new BDECC (Brian Dominick Early Childhood Center),
