Mandatory Football Meeting on June 15
TO HELP US IMPROVE our Red Hawk community, we are conducting three school climate surveys, one for students, one for families and one for staff. In each case, responses are anonymous and they are used by our School Climate Teams to identify improvement goals for next school year.
- Family Survey: Parents and guardians, please complete one unique survey response for MHS even if you have more than one child enrolled here. If you have a child or other children in other district schools, you can complete a survey for that or those school(s), too. Here's the link for the family survey.
- Student Survey: The student survey will be given in school. Note that under the law, parents may request that their student not take part. Parent/guardians, if you do not want your child to take the survey, please email your child’s assistant principal directly or district communication director Jim Farrell at jfarrell@mpspride.org.
In Case You Missed It
Summer School
- Summer School: Registration will be Tuesday, June 23rd and Wednesday June 24th. To be eligible for summer school, students must earn a minimum of a 40 average and have attended at least 70% of the time.

Juniors
- In just a few months you will be applying to postsecondary institutions. It’s time to start working on a few tasks. All juniors should enter their senior year with the following tasks mostly complete.
- Schoolinks is a great way to build your resume and work on a list of colleges.
- CASA is a FREE opportunity to complete these tasks!
Seniors
- Senior Final Transcript: Navigate to “Senior Year End Activity” in Schoolinks. This indicates where your Final Transcripts should be sent. All students must complete this survey, regardless of their postsecondary plan. YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO PICK UP YOUR CAP AND GOWN UNTIL YOU SUBMIT THIS!
- It is not too late to submit an application to CT State (formerly Manchester Community College). Students can attend CT State for free!
- It is not too late to apply for FAFSA. Need help completing the FAFSA? Email Mr. Moyano lmoyano@mpspride.org.
A More Efficient Way to Communicate Student Absences via one APP
The Campus Parent app provides a convenient way for parents and guardians to stay connected with their student’s school information.
One helpful feature is the Absence Request Tool, which allows you to notify the school in advance when your student will be absent. By submitting a request through the app, you can ensure the school office is informed ahead of time. Once your request is reviewed and processed, an official attendance record will be created for your student.
You can access the Campus Parent portal by clicking here.
If you have not yet set up your Campus Parent account and need an activation code, please contact your student’s administrator for assistance.
Staying connected through the Campus Parent app helps ensure accurate attendance records and better communication with your school.
