May 2025
A Message from Mrs. Galullo & Mrs. Austin
Dear Torringford Families,
We hope this message finds you well as we welcome the lively and eventful month of May at Torringford School. With the end of the school year on the horizon, our days are packed with exciting field trips, special events, and important student assessments. Please be sure to review the key dates included in this newsletter—especially noting that our last day of school is now Friday, June 13th, with an early dismissal at 1:45 p.m.
As the temperatures rise, we kindly ask that students wear safe and comfortable footwear such as sneakers for recess; flip flops and backless shoes are not permitted.
A big thank-you goes out to our amazing PTO and all the parent volunteers who make such a difference in our school community. With a Wicked theme leading the way, Staff Appreciation Week was nothing short of magical! Our team was treated to a spellbinding breakfast and a lunch that was wickedly delicious. A huge thank-you to the many families who contributed—whether you brewed up a tasty dish, sent in drinks, or supported with a donation, your generosity truly cast a joyful spell over our week. The Yellow Brick Road of Appreciation messages so many families shared were absolutely enchanting! Your kind words had us floating higher than Glinda’s bubble. Thank you for making the Torringford staff feel so appreciated!
As we head into the final stretch of the school year, we’re excited for the meaningful learning, continued growth, and memorable moments still to come. Thank you for your ongoing support and for being such an important part of your child’s educational journey—we couldn’t do it without you!
In partnership,
Mrs. Galullo (Principal) & Mrs. Austin (Assistant Principal)
