Volunteer Opportunities: September
Each newsletter, we will update volunteer opportunities for ways to get involved in the school and see your kiddos. No experience needed, just warm smiles and a willingness to help out.
PTA Meeting: September 16, 7-8pm
All Bingham Farms families are invited to join us for our monthly PTA meetings. We meet in the Media Center to share updates on school programs, vote on how to support our classrooms, and hear the Principal's report.
Bingham Boo - October 17, 6-9pm
Join us for our school's biggest family event of the year! With activities geared toward elementary students, kids can enjoy games throughout the school, entertainment, pizza, and prizes. There will be the annual teacher raffle for our students and a 50/50 raffle for adults.

Help us support our teachers and staff with some refreshments to get them through these first busy weeks. These treats will provide some relief during room set-up, curriculum night, and all the fun that comes with welcoming back our students. You can still make donations; please drop them off at the office, and we'll be sure to share them with the teachers.
Your PTA Funds at Work
The school year is starting off bright with gifts for each of our classrooms. When our teachers were welcomed back into the classroom, the PTA had a special surprise. Each classroom was gifted fidget toys, school supplies, teacher resources, and other items to support our students. Several classrooms are also receiving items from their 2025 Teacher Grants that were awarded at the end of last school year. We look forward to sharing more of how your PTA dollars support our school.
PTA Membership
We invite all our families to be members of the PTA. Your membership gets you access to our Bingham Farms school directory, funds classroom grants, helps us to provide gifts for staff appreciation, host school events, and provides students with various fun, innovative, and educational items. It also helps us maintain our local and national PTA affiliation.
Classroom Funds
Class funds support our four class parties (Halloween, Winter, Valentines, and End-of-Year), treats, games, and crafts. By supporting the Classroom Fund, we will minimize our ask for donations to parties throughout the year.
Bagel Pass - Wednesday is Bagel Day
The Bagel Pass allows your student to have a bagel once a week on a designated day throughout the school year. Click the image to prepay for bagels all year long. *Please note flavors will be Plain, Salt, and Cinnamon Sugar. There will not be condiments. Bagels begin 9/10
Ice Cream Pass - Friday is Ice Cream Day
The Ice Cream Pass allows your student to have a popsicle or ice cream novelty once a week on a designated day throughout the school year. This sale helps support the 5th grade promotion. Click the image to buy an ice cream pass. Ice Cream begins 9/12. *Pre-K and JK students will not have ice cream
Our teachers and staff do an incredible job supporting our students. As we enter a year of transitions with the school remodel, please consider donating an item our teachers to foster an engaging classroom for our kids.

A great way to support the school is through Box Top$ for Education. Long gone are the days of clipping the barcodes of cereal boxes or soup labels. Download the app, select Bingham Farms Elementary, and each time you shop at the grocery scan your receipt. It will auto calculate the donation and send it to our school! It is easy, and you don't need to know which food or supplies qualify for credit - the app checks for you. Now download that app while you wait for the bus, or in the pick-up gathering zone.
