Monthly District Newsletter
September 6, 2024

From the District Office
Dear Proviso Families, Students, and Staff,
We are just a few weeks into the 2024-2025 school year, and I am pleased to say that we are off to a fantastic start! I want to extend a warm welcome to all of our new and returning students, as well as a special welcome to our dedicated new and returning staff members.
As we settle into the school year, I encourage parents and guardians to keep an eye out for newsletters from your child’s individual school buildings. These newsletters will contain important school-specific information, key dates, and exciting highlights. Also, please be checking your PowerSchool accounts to monitor your student's grades and attendance.
A quick reminder to all that Wednesdays are Late Start Days. On these days, first period begins at 9:20 a.m.
Don't forget to join us for our upcoming Back to School Night on Thursday, September 12th from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at your student's school! This is a great opportunity to visit classrooms, meet teachers/staff, and find out more about what your students are currently learning.
We are excited for the continued success of this school year and look forward to working together to make it a great one!
Sincerely,
Mr. Alexandar Aschoff
Interim Superintendent
Proviso Township High Schools District 209
