Notes for the week:

We had a wonderful week at MPMS last week and hope to do the same again this week. 8th grades complete their PSAT and M-STEP testing this week. It is crucial that ALL students come to school each day with a charged Chromebook. These state tests are all done digitally and without student preparedness, it is difficult to get everything done on time. Thank you for helping us make sure each student is rested, prepared and successful.

There are lots of altered schedules, special events and important dates coming up. Please continue to read this WAG each week and stay connected to us via our Facebook page for any additions or changes. As always, reach out via phone or email to myself or any of our teachers if you have specific questions. As our CKH theme of Perseverance reminds us, we want to "Finish Strong" and we appreciate your help with this!

Attention Parents and Guardians of MPPS students utilizing the school bus for transportation. Please review the following information.

You may enroll your student in transportation at the following link.

If your current student has not rode the bus since May 1, 2025 you will also need to re-enroll the student(s) using the link above.
School starts August 21, 2025

The sign up deadline for riding the bus the first week is August 8, 2025. Anyone enrolled after this date will begin August 25, 2025.
You are encouraged to download the parent app My Ride K-12 https://myridek12.tylerapp.com/login . If you have any questions please call 989-775-2323 x 32810. The Transportation Department will call you back if we miss your call please leave a detailed message. On August 18th you will be able to locate your student(s) pick up and drop off time using this app. There are several options within the app under the settings.

Most badges will be available at the orientations and back to school events. If your child does not receive their badge before school, the driver will have their badge the during the first week of school.

For Elementary Students Attending MPMS

• These students WILL NOT attend on most days that alter the daily schedule, including delay days, half days, and days where MPMS students start with first hour. One issue is that there may not be a bus available to transport them back to their elementary schools. Another issue on delay days is that they will be finished with their MPMS math class long before their elementary start time.

• The only exception to this rule will be days where they will be taking their trimester exams. They will indeed attend on exam days, even with the change in schedule.

For MPMS Students Attending MPHS

• These students WILL NOT attend on delay days, half days, and all other irregular days unless otherwise instructed by their MPHS Math/French teacher.
