Meet the Counselor

Hello and welcome to Martin Elementary!

My name is Megan Massey and I am excited to be your new school counselor for the 2026–2027 school year at Martin Elementary. I spent 12 years at Rattan Elementary in Anna ISD. While I am new to Celina, I grew up in Gunter and I have seen all the growth and wonderful things that have happened in Celina over the years. This will be my sixth year as a school counselor and I'm so very blessed to serve Martin.

I’m here to support all students in their academic, personal/social, and career development. My goal is to ensure every student feels safe, heard, and empowered to reach their full potential.

What I Do as a School Counselor:

• Help students build social and emotional skills

• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families

• Talk with kids one-on-one or in small groups

• Help students learn how to be a good friend

• Teach ways to solve problems and handle big feelings

A Little About Me:

I love working with kids and helping them feel confident and happy. Your child's education is a collaboration between the school and home. Together, your child can be successful. When I’m not at school, I enjoy movies, board games, and spending time with my family and friends.

I’m looking forward to a wonderful school year and getting to know many families here at Martin. I’m excited to help make this school year awesome!
