Bonding Over Books starts today! What is it? This is a fall reading challenge where students can choose to read the same book as a partner of their choosing—parent, guardian, classmate, teacher, or another family member. Both partners will read the book and answer discussion questions about their book. Partners can return their completed questions to the library by November 23rd to earn a bag charm and be entered to win one of 6 larger prizes (fuzzy blanket or penguin pillow.) Stop by the library to get signed up today! The library will also be open during conferences for book checkout and to pick up the discussion questions. Happy reading!

Save the date for CBE’s first ever Winter Wonderland Book Fair!! The book fair this year will be held December 7th-11th in the library. It will be open during Holiday concerts on Tuesday/Thursday that week, and will also remain open until 3:30 on the early dismissal day on December 9th. Stay tuned for fun opportunities to win books and prizes surrounding the fair!

6th grade volleyball will be starting practice on Tuesday, October 13th! This is a 6 week season with 3 jamborees. 6th grade athletics do not require physicals, but there is a $25 activity fee. Email manskeb@fargo.k12.nd.us for more information!

7th and 8th Grade Girls’ Basketball starts soon on October 19th! Sign-Up here if you intend to play: 7th/8th GBB Sign-Up Reminder: sports physicals are required for 7th and 8th graders. Students cannot practice or play without one! Please reach out to Brook Manske with any questions or concerns.
