Last Week Before Winter Break

We are looking forward to an exciting final week before Winter Break at BPE! This week is our District Spirit Week, and we want to remind families that Monday and Friday have been switched:

• Monday: Flannel Day

• Tuesday: Special Spirit Day – Cleveland Browns Day!

• Friday: Titan Ticket Pajama Day

Tuesday is a very special day! We have a GREAT possibility of a surprise visit from the Cleveland Browns—so let’s Stay in the GAME! We are asking all students and staff to wear Cleveland Browns shirts or sweatshirts, or orange and brown. This will replace the originally scheduled spirit day theme for Tuesday. Let’s show our Cleveland Browns and BPE spirit by flooding the school with orange and brown! It will be an extra special day for Brownie and all of our students.

On Titan Ticket Days, students may turn in 10 Titan Tickets or use 10 Dojo Points to participate in the fun. This Friday’s Titan Ticket Day is FREE—no tickets or points needed!

Brownie the Elf is still making his way around our building, so be sure your child is at school this week to see where he might pop up next!

Friday will be a fun-filled day for all students. During ENCORE time, our amazing PTSA will host Winter Fest for every class. Then, just before dismissal for Winter Break, students will enjoy a special performance by the BMHS Show Choir—a wonderful way to end the week and celebrate the season.

We hope everyone has a great week, and we look forward to seeing our Titans on Monday.

Dear Guardians-

Please be sure to be familiar with these guidelines below. All students must be prepared to go outside. When we have snow and the temperature permits our students to be outside, we would love for them to play in the snow appropriately. To be allowed to play in the snow they must have all of the following:

Snow Pants, Coat/Jacket, Boots and Gloves

They DO NOT need these items to go outside, but do need them if they want to play in the snow. We have areas for the kids play in - they love it! They make snow angels, build snowmen- but they must be dressed appropriately to do so.

12/19 PTSA Winter FEST- Celebration for all kids- Fun activities, crafts and treats- all takes place during the school day. Wear PJS for FREE day!

12/20-1/4 Winter Break- NO School

1/5 - Back to School 2026

1/5- 1/9 Town Hall meetings ( Monday is 3rd and 1st/Tuesday is 4th and 2nd/Wednesday is Kindergarten)

1/16- Staff Work Day- No School

1/19- MLK Day - No School

Families are asked and encouraged to complete the Income Eligibility Verification Application to access additional benefits, including increased state and federal funding for staff, equipment, and supplies; discounts on fees for academic assessments; and access to local scholarships, tuition assistance for dual credit and AP courses, and discounts on college application fees. By completing the application, you help the district continue to provide valuable resources and opportunities for every student.

Online Payments

Online payment is our preferred method for parents and guardians to pay for school fees, cafeteria payments, and more.

The Infinite Campus Online Payment system is a payment processing

solution that allows you to submit food service and school-related fees 24/7

via the Parent Portal. Payments can be made for one child or the entire

household.

The Fees tool provides a list of all fees assigned to you. Fees may include things like a lab fee for a science course, a fee for a field trip or the cost of an athletic activity. Fees that are still owed and fees that were paid appear in this list, followed by the ongoing balance for all fees.

Just a Friendly Reminder

As the weather is changing, please take this opportunity to update your child's extra set of clothes in their backpack with clothing suitable for the current season, ensuring they have appropriate layers for colder or warmer temperatures depending on the time of year.
