CCPS Student Wellness Newsletter #4

Thanks for a wonderful 2024-25 school year! This newsletter highlights different resources and events in our local area as well as some recommendations for a healthy summer. We hope you and your families have a restful and memorable summer, and we look forward to seeing you in August!

Timbrook Library | June 6 | 11AM-6 PM

You are invited to an outdoor party to encourage you to “Color Our World” this summer! Bring your sunscreen and beach balls as the library patio will be transformed into a beach filled with games, decorations, activities, N’Action Mobile Arcade (3-6 pm), Kona Ice truck, and more. Build a make-your-own Summer Reading kit and have lots of fun with your family, friends, and neighbors!

Can’t make it to the Kick-Off Party? Visit another library to make your own “Color Our World” kit while supplies last. Please note that you do not need to have a Summer Reading kit to participate in the program. It’s just a bonus!

• June 9 | 3-5 PM | Campbell County Public Library in Rustburg
• June 12 | 10AM- 12PM | Patrick Henry Memorial Library in Brookneal
