Leaving School Early for Online Classes - Juniors and Seniors Only
Here are the guidelines and reminders for eligible students who leave campus for online learning:
- Students must submit a permission form that is signed by parent/legal guardian. The form is available at the front office. This needs to be filled out at the beginning of each semester.
- Permission to leave school for online classes is a privilege that is contingent upon the student acting responsibly while in school AND maintaining satisfactory academic progress in the online class(es). A student with parent/guardian permission and administrative approval may leave the campus during the assigned class period(s) only.
- Parents/guardians are responsible for their child's whereabouts, conduct, and welfare while away from campus.
- Students are required to follow proper signing out/in procedures when exiting or returning to campus. They are to exit/return ONLY through the main entry doors and must show an off campus approval pass.
- Students are NOT allowed to leave campus buildings and remain in cars in the parking lot during online classes.
- Students must follow all rules stated in the North Lincoln Parking Pass Application.
- Once students return to campus, they must promptly enter the building and NOT remain in their vehicles in the parking lot.
- Students must leave at the end of on-campus class before and enter the building before the beginning of the next on-campus class.
- Students may NOT bring back food or drink from outside the school and enter the building with these items.

Bus Safety at NLHS
North Lincoln High School and its bus drivers are committed to keeping our students safe as they travel to and from school. To help us with this mission, please review these reminders with your child(ren), for both student drivers and bus riders. We ask that bus riders comply with the bus drivers' directions to ensure a safe and smooth ride home. Thank you for your help!
