Welcome to the 25-26 School Year!
Some info for the starting school year at Eight Corners
Hello!
Happy August!
My name is Allison (Alli) Wilson and I am the new Principal at Eight Corners Primary School. For the last 10 years, I have been working in the Kittery School District at their PreK-3 school as the Principal (7 years) and before that Assistant Principal (3 years). Prior to being an administrator, I taught 4th and 5th grade in Old Orchard Beach. My husband, son and I live in Westbrook.
I am very excited to be joining the Eight Corners staff and to work with you all to make your child's primary school experience the best that it can be. Please don't ever hesitate to reach out with questions or concerns.
I will be in touch with more information as we get closer to the start of the year! Have a wonderful weekend!
Appointment Days - August 27th and 28th
There's still time to sign up! Click here if you need to make your appointment.
At your appointment time you will enter through the back door of the cafeteria. You and your child will go down to the classroom to meet the teacher and get to see the room. Students will stay with their teachers for a little bit while parents return to the cafeteria to wait for them. While in the cafeteria, please visit our "Transportation Station" to finalize your students after school plans as well as the "General Forms Galore" to complete your yearly general forms. Once your student is done, their teacher will walk them back to meet you in the cafeteria. The whole process should take about 30 minutes.
Student Supplies/Teacher Letters
Grade 1 and Grade 2 students will be receiving a copy of their teacher's summer letter before the end of day Friday, August 8th. The letter will include a list of supplies that your child will need to start the year. Kindergarten students will receive their teacher letters/placement following Kinder Camp (after August 18th).
In addition, we ask you to pack the following:
To start the year and at the change of each season your child will need:
A change of clothes (in a labeled ziplock bag)
Daily:
A spill proof water bottle
Snack
**Please label any clothes, water bottles, lunch boxes, etc so they can be returned to the correct owner!**
