The Kindergarten Center

.

Good evening,

I am emailing to remind you once again that we will have an early dismissal on Friday, December 5th.

Today, we had several students returned to school because no one was at the bus stop or available for pickup. Our teachers are not available after dismissal, as they participate in professional development. I am respectfully asking that you ensure your child is picked up on time from school or met at the bus stop. Please notify your child’s daycare of the early dismissal.Children become upset and anxious when they are left waiting in the office for long periods of time.

Please also make sure we have an updated phone number on file and that you answer when we call. It is extremely important that we are able to reach you. It is extremely important that students arrive to school on time. Having students arriving late is a disruption to the class. Latenesses and frequent late pickups will be reported.

Please read the attached newsletter from our school nurse.

We are here to help. If you have any questions regarding the early dismissal, please reach out.

Thank you,

Anna Marie

DCIU Resources Webpage

The Delaware County Intermediate Unit (DCIU) has developed a RESOURCES WEBPAGE that connects individuals with local food banks, housing assistance, energy programs, and other community services offering immediate support. We encourage everyone to share this information widely so that those affected by the government shutdown can access the help they need as quickly as possible.
