The Great Gatsby
The NHS Theatre Department's Production of "The Great Gatsby" Opens Tomorrow!
Get ready to travel back in time to the Roaring Twenties with the cast of The Great Gatsby. See the information below for more details!
Synopsis
Simon Levy’s masterful stage adaptation brings Fitzgerald’s timeless tale of ambition, illusion and heartbreak to life. Follow the mysterious Jay Gatsby as he reaches for the past—and discovers the cost of chasing the American Dream.
This script is the only version sanctioned by the Fitzgerald Estate, and as such follows the novel closely. We would advise patrons with young children to be sure they are familiar with the general plot of this classic novel, as some content might be too intense.
