Grade 7-12 Transportation Fee
For the 2025-2026 School Year
Dear HPS Families,
Earlier this year, the Hingham School Committee voted to implement a transportation fee for students in Grades 7-12 who use Hingham Public Schools buses.
The bus fee for the 2025–2026 school year is $250 per student for those entering grades 7–12, with a family cap of $500 for two or more students in those grades using the bus service. This fee will help offset the cost of transportation services and address rising expenses, including fuel costs.
Bus registration is now open for students entering grades 7-12 for the 2025-2026 school year. Registration will remain open from May 2 through May 30, 2025. For detailed instructions on how to register and pay the transportation fee, please visit hinghamschools.org/transportation.
