Congrats to Cross Country on a great season! The 8th Grade finished as Highland Lakes District Champions! The coaches are proud of the boys and how they competed all year. Great job to all runners and Coach Wernicke.

Football competes with Hill Country (Red teams vs. LTMS) this week to complete the football season. It is going to be a fun week of competition! Students (and teachers!!) are out of school on Monday, so a reminder that games will be on Tuesday & Wednesday this week.

XC Raider Nation — We did it!

A great year is in the books! Both teams did awesome at District, with several runners hitting new PRs and the 8th grade boys taking 1st place as a team!

It’s been a great season, with its ups and downs. We’ve had tough practices, challenging races, hot days, tired legs, and plenty of moments when things didn’t go exactly as planned. But through it all, this group continued to show up, work hard, encourage one another, and get better. I couldn’t be more proud of this group and everything they accomplished this season. Thank you to our runners and families for making our season so special!

Uniforms now need to be turned in. Please bring those back to Coach Wernicke as soon as possible.

Notes

• Football padded pants. DO NOT PUT IN DRYER, they have to air dry. Wash on cold and delicate with the pads in the pants, make sure belt (if has one) is buckled and let air dry
• Football practice jersey. LOW HEAT ONLY, if any drying at all. Air dry would be best. Numbers will melt on high heat in dryer.

For Football we are going to participate in the Jason's Deli Game Day Box Lunch Program this season. The Jason’s Deli Game Day Program will allow a meal to be delivered to your athlete before games. Your athlete will receive a healthy, filling meal and game days will be made easier for you! This is not mandatory. If you wish to bring a meal up to the school on game day you may do that, but be aware of traffic. There will be a bin to place it in. ***All questions need to go to Jason's Deli for game day orders, the BCMS coaches have no control over anything to do with Jason's Deli orders***

Boys Basketball Tryouts Overview

Basketball season is right around the corner! Tryouts officially start on Wednesday, October 21st.

Roster Structure

• 7th Grade: 2 teams (20 players total across both teams)

• Attendance Policy: If you sign up but later decide not to try out, please notify the coaching staff as soon as possible to ensure accurate headcount for organizing tryout groups, drills, and logistics.

What is the BCMS Booster Club? We support our Coaches and Student Athletes with funding to enrich the experience of every student athlete. In our first 6 years of our school program we were able to purchase the following items through our generous Family members and Corporate sponsors.

Hudl Access for game film

Hudl access is available for those who join the Booster club at the Red Parent level ($150) or Red Sponsor - Business level ($250). If you are planning on watching game film for week one of football don't wait to join the booster club. This is also a great way for parents or other family members who are out of town to watch the game once film is uploaded. Click the booster store link above to purchase. We give access once a week and not on game day, so please make sure to sign up so you won’t miss the games.
