Congratulations to our Bandon High School Musicians!

Six of our talented students have been selected to attend the Western International Band Clinic (WIBC) in Seattle, WA! Today, they attended our local Rotary Club meeting, where they were generously gifted a donation to help support their trip. We’re so proud of their hard work and dedication to music — and so grateful to the Rotary Club for supporting our students’ musical growth and opportunities!

Financial Aid Night Success!

Thank you to everyone who joined us for Financial Aid Night at Bandon High School on October 16! We had 21 families attend and learn about important resources and opportunities to support their students’ future education.

We’re so proud of our students and families for taking the next step toward their college and career goals!

Internet Safety Presentations

Our 6th-8th grade students recently recieved a chat from Ms. Armistead about internet safety. The students were talked to about how to react when they see threatening or concerning messages online, in person, or on social media. The main take away was Please report it right away and do not repost or share it. When alarming content is spread, it can cause panic or delay proper responses. They were asked to tell a trusted adult, their school office or teacher, and given the contact information of SafeOregon - a confidential hotline.

Jog a Thon

This year, we are raising funds to support STEM education in our classrooms.

Our students ran 1,488 laps and have pledged $16,561 to our school.

All donations are due by November 21st.

Our goal is to bring more Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math opportunities to our students through engaging, hands-on learning experiences.

We’re aiming to raise $15,000, which will help us:

  • Bring in OMSI (Oregon Museum of Science and Industry) for an exciting school-wide assembly

  • Purchase engineering and math kits for classroom use

  • Update classroom technology

  • Provide more hands-on science experiences for all students

With your support, we can inspire the next generation of thinkers, creators, and problem-solvers. Thank you for helping us bring STEM to life!
