The Springdale Schools will have remote teaching and learning on Friday, February 19h, due to the inclement weather. All school buildings will be closed while we continue to learn remotely at home. ALL students in Pre-k through 5th grade have assignments to do at home. Since all students have either an iPad or a Chrome Book, assignments can be found in your child's online learning platform using their devices.

We would like to express our appreciation for the support of our parents this week. We know that you have been helping ensure your child logs into Zooms and completes assigned work. You have also been there to provide fun opportunities for your child by taking them out to play in the snow and bringing snow inside for fun activities like making snow ice cream. We greatly appreciate the work you did to make this a successful remote learning week.

Here is a quick reference parent guide to help you with the student expectations for each grade level. If you have any questions, your child's teacher will be working at home and can be reached through email. Staff emails are listed below in this newsletter.

Each grade level will have two zoom times. Students are only required to attend one of the two zooms. The zoom schedule can be found below. Links to each classroom zoom can be found by using your child's device and connecting to the learning platform (SeeSaw or Google Classroom). If you should have any trouble logging into zoom or accessing your child's work, please send an email to your child's teacher. Teachers will be here to help and support you and your child throughout the remote learning day tomorrow. Tomorrow all students will have two additional Zoom time options for specials. Students can log in for specials at 8:00 am or 2:30 pm. Links to the Zooms for specials can be found in your child's learning platform.
