MOHI Nation News

The Monarch Girls’ Basketball program ended the regular season on a high note, showcasing grit, teamwork, and plenty of heart!

Tuesday: Dominance at Home

Monarch bounced back beautifully against Silver Creek, proving they weren’t phased by previous setbacks. Varsity delivered a cohesive masterclass with 20 team assists, fueled by Charlotte Weiss’s season-high 27 points and Ginger Milot’s spectacular triple-double. The result? A commanding 68-36 victory!

The JV team matched that energy, showing incredible resilience and defensive growth in their 31-22 win. While the C-Team narrowly missed the sweep in a literal buzzer-beater atmosphere, their effort set a competitive tone for the night.

Friday: Senior Night Success

Friday was a celebration of talent and legacy as we honored seniors Avery Kennedy and Lily Case. Avery left it all on the court in her final regular-season home game, leading the charge with 6 points, 5 steals, and 8 rebounds in a 55-17 rout of Centaurus. The program is deeply grateful for Lily’s dedication and Avery’s leadership. We’ll miss these amazing young women and can’t wait to see them thrive in their next chapters!

JV kept the momentum rolling with a 29-22 win over the Warriors, proving the future of Monarch basketball is in great hands. The C-Team fought hard but couldn't quite close the gap, ending their night with a tough loss.
