STUDENT SUCCESS SKILLS
Student Success Skills (SSS) are Fulton County School's standards for the skills needed to demonstrate mastery of academic and interpersonal skills needed for college, career, and life success. These six skills are taught in all schools, by all teachers, to all students. Each skill has corresponding standards across grade levels.
As a parent, you can help your child with these skills on a weekly basis through the rethinkEd Home Connections. Each week the links will change with new ideas on how to help your child learn. Click on the links below to help your child learn how their brain works!

Summer Learning Activities for Elementary Students - Summer is the perfect time for students to relax and take a break from all their school routines. However, it doesn't mean learning should come to a complete stop! In fact, it's a great opportunity to get excited about fun summer learning activities for elementary students that lets students do activities that are outside the box. In this article, I am going to share with you fun activities that are perfect for sparking curiosity and developing important skills. Not only are these summer learning activities for elementary students’ fun, but they will also increase their knowledge and keep their brains active during summer break.

THE NATIONAL PTA WEBSITE - The Parents’ Guides to Student Success were developed by teachers, parents, and education experts in response to the Common Core State Standards that more than 45 states have adopted. Guides for grades K-8 Schools are available in both English and Spanish. These grade level guides will let you know what your student is expected to know.
EJ STUDENTS TRY NEW FRUITS AND VEGGIES!
The Fresh Fruit & Vegetable Program is a USDA federally funded grant providing all enrolled students in participating elementary schools with a variety of free fresh fruit and vegetables during the school day – separate from the lunch or breakfast meal. The goal of this program is to expand the variety of fruits and vegetables children experience in a healthy school environment, increase consumption of fruits and vegetables and to make a positive impact on the students' future health.
