We are excited to start the school year! We will be continuing with the 7 Mindsets platform. Students will complete these lessons in class with their teacher. Here is some additional information:

Regular school attendance is one of the most important steps our junior high students can take toward a bright and successful future. Being present each day gives students the opportunity to learn, build strong relationships, develop important skills, and stay connected to their school community.

Every day matters. When students attend school consistently, they are better prepared academically, socially, and emotionally for the opportunities ahead.

By making school attendance a priority today, we are helping our students build the foundation for a brighter tomorrow.

Students in Mr. Owen’s STEM/GT classes took learning to new heights as they explored the science of aerodynamics! Using their understanding of the four forces of flight, students designed, tested, and adjusted paper airplanes with the goal of flying 30 feet or more. This hands-on challenge was a great way to combine creativity, problem-solving, and STEM skills while putting science into action!
