NO YOUTH GROUP TONIGHT (SEE YOU ON DEC 1ST)

Youth Group for all 6th-12th grade students on Sunday from 5-7pm in the Gym at John Wesley UMC. If it is your 1st time youth enter the gym from the door in the back parking lot of John Wesley. We start with a meal and free time, then we move to group games, have a 5-10 minute devotion and finish the time with small groups. You are welcome to invite as many friends as you want.

All High School Youth who are part of the leadership team will meet after youth to discuss upcoming plans for the youth calendar. Our big project will be planning a High School Lock-In for the fall. To be a part of the team you must be in high school, attend Sunday night youth regularly, attend all leadership meetings, and assist in leading ministry at John Wesley.

WNO (Wednesday Night Out) is an all ages event each Wednesday Night at John Wesley UMC. From 5-6pm we offer a meal ($8 per person, children under 12 $4). From 6-7pm we have music ministry for our 6th-12th graders. We also have small groups for adults and children ministry activities from 6-7pm. We have a fantastic class this year. The class meets each month usually on the 2nd Sunday from 9:30-10:45am in the youth room. The class runs from September till April. Confirmation Sunday will be May 11th.

LSUMC in Camden, SC, is trying to organize a statewide basketball tournament on January 3-5! We're gauging interest to see if we have enough youth to field teams in the following age groups: Middle School Girls, High School Girls, Middle School Boys, & High School Boys. If you’re interested in participating, please click the link below to let us know! Once we confirm enough players and teams, we’ll move forward with sending teams to the tournament.

Note: This is a new tournament format and will differ from those in previous years. Also any youth who is playing JV or Varsity Basketball can not play in the tournament. Don’t miss out—let us know you're in!

Revolution 2025 is a powerful, life-changing event of youth worship and spiritual growth at the Township Auditorium in Columbia, SC on January 24-26, 2025. The cost per student is $200 and those that register before Dec 31st will receive a conference t-shirt. The cost includes hotel, transportation, and most meals.

Special thanks to all the families and groups that provided meals for our youth this past fall. Because of your support every JDub Sunday Night Youth Group has a meal for all the youth and volunteers who gathered each week. If you add up all the weeks you have served over 550 meals. Our Ministry is so much stronger because of the support of all of you. We will be putting out the 2025 spring meal schedule soon.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who made this year’s pumpkin patch a resounding success! From unloading to selling, your hard work and dedication contributed to a truly historic year. Together, we sold over $48,000 worth of pumpkins, raising nearly $20,000 for youth missions. Because of your efforts, our Youth Leadership Team is proud to contribute over $10,000 toward hurricane relief. Your support is making a real difference—thank you!
