A NOTE FROM THE PRINCIPAL A NOTE FROM THE PRINCIPAL

Dear PES families,

Thank you for all your guided participation and support with spirit week. We know it’s another thing that’s added to an already full family plate, but trust us when we say the kids' smiles and excitement at school all week are well worth it - so thank you for all the help.

Spirit Week! ⚓

Spirit week has been SOOO much fun this week. We saw some spectacular pajamas, creative bags, fancy dresses and costumes, and whacky outfits for fun. Perhaps you even heard that a group of pirates took over the school on Wednesday. Tomorrow is our last day, which is twin day. If students would like to twin with their teachers, they can wear jeans and a PES school shirt. If you’re still in need of a school T-shirt, we do have some for sale.

Celebrations from the classroom! ❤️

Last week, we had our annual Fall Festival for students at PES. Students were sorted into mixed grade level groups, and then rotated with a team leader through six different activities. We ended the afternoon with homemade cookies from Mrs. Wells and juice boxes and snacks from the PTA. Thank you to our wonderful PES staff and PTA members who made this memorable event happen for the students.

Great Start - Please Read! 👖❄️

It’s that time of year when mornings are very chilly. In order to go outside, students need to have long pants and a jacket. We can’t always guarantee we will have enough volunteers for the art room, so if all students are outside and someone is not properly dressed for the outdoors, they’ll have to sit on the bench by the office, which is not very fun. Thank you for your attention to this matter. P.S. If you need help with coats or snow pants, please contact me.

This week’s newsletter is full of important information, so don’t forget to read it through. Thanks for being partners in an amazing community!

Warm regards,

Mrs.Willette
