Ms. McCormick has been a player, a coach, and an umpire for women's lacrosse. She has officiated youth, high school and college games. This picture was taken at the draw for a fall season game between Kennesaw State University and Reinhardt University several years ago. This season (spring 2016) is year two of the new girls' lacrosse program at her current face to face high school. As a team full of first time players, the 2015 season saw 2 wins which McCormick considers remarkable; the wins came against established teams. This marks the second lacrosse program that Ms. McCormick has started in the 23 years she's taught in the public school systems in Georgia.

Goalie love

Ms. McCormick cares deeply about her students and although not all students may develop a passion for mathematics, she does sincerely hope that she can encourage her students to try their best; students often find that math isn't quite as hard as they originally thought.
